Ozone is Oxygen. We breath in O2 oxygen from the air around us. Ozone is O3, so it has an extra electron looking to pair itself.  This unstable electron is what makes ozone a wonderful Cleanser.  When we have a Lightening storm Ozone is created in the atmosphere and Hydrogen peroxide (H202) is created in the water.  They both will return O2 and H20 and at the same time Cleanse the the earth.

Ozone is used in many places though out the world. If you visit Europe and buy a bottle of water, the Purification process will many times read that is has been Ozonated.  Also, Swimming Pools are Purified by Ozone.  Ozone is widely used in Germany and Cuba by the medical industry.  They use ozone either infusing it or injecting it directly into the blood stream.

 Ozone at higher levels in the atmosphere helps protect our planet. Ozone in the air at ground level, however, has a bad name as it is associated with air pollution. When air is heavily polluted ozone forms in an effort to clean the air. Remember ozone is nature?s most powerful cleanser. Ozone is hard on lungs so it is not a good idea to breathe in too much ozone.

Certain vitamins and minerals have been named ?antioxidants.? This makes it sound like it is a good idea to reduce oxygen! We need all the oxygen we can get as the amount of oxygen in the air is much reduced today than it was: "Many scientists were stunned recently when it was revealed that air bubbles trapped in fossilized amber had been analyzed and found to contain oxygen levels of 38%. Yet today it is well known that the average oxygen content of air is only about 19%.  In other words, since the early history of the earth, it appears there has been an estimated 50% drop in the average oxygen content of air we breathe!"

Vitamins and minerals do help protect the body from harmful free radicals but it is misleading when they are referred to as ?antioxidants.? Free radical protectors would be a more accurate term?and remember excess free radicals are created by pollution not oxygen.

The Beck Protocol includes adding ozone to a glass of cold water to increase the amount of oxygen in the water before we drink it. This is not a medical procedure. The purpose is to simply flush toxins from the system more quickly.

Why the controversy of ozone? This extra electron in ozone is considered by many as a free radical.  Free radicals are formed when we have diets heavy with sugar, over cooked oils, and environmental pollutants.   This causes too many free radicals in our bodies.  When this takes place all those excess free radicals look for electrons in our bodies.  Ozone has an extra electron and can satisfy these free radicals by providing that needed electron.  Ozone will hunt these free radicals and eliminate them from our bodies.

H.E. Sartori describes the test of live-blood analysis using phase contrast and darkfield microscopy after ozone was injected into a terminal lung cancer patient. Oxygen is the most important substance on earth,  the most effective detox agent, our best blood cleanser, antibiotic, and immune system builder.  Why wouldn?t we need more of it?   The level of our oxygen in the atmosphere is decreasing so are we getting enough?

How To make Ozonated water using the IonAvs Ozonator:

1.  Fill an 8-12oz glass with cold water.   (Add minerals for longer life of the ozone-can extend life up to 2 days)

2.  Add some ice.  Cold water will hold the Oxygen in longer.  Now, simply place the output tubing with the attached air stone bubbler into a large empty glass or pitcher and connect the other end to the outlet in the front of the IonAvs.

3.  Set the time on the IonAvs to 5-10 minutes.   For a Picture of water run for 30min.

4.  The ozonated water will last about 20 minutes.

In 1992, a Russian experiment with ozone bubbled into brine to treat burn victims.

In the upper atmosphere, ozone absorbs certain forms of radiation, protecting us from its harmful effects. In the lower atmosphere, however, it can irritate the eyes and lungs and aggravate respiratory problems. Thus, for therapeutic purposes, it's taken in a variety of ways that avoid inhalation. Among the more common are:
* By ingesting it in water instilled with the gas
* By applying a mixture of olive oil and ozone directly to the skin
* By blowing the gas into a body cavity such as the vagina, rectum, or ear drum (known as insufflations)
* By circulating the gas around a limb that has been wrapped in a bag (known as 'limb-bagging'

It is important that ozone should be administered only by an experienced practitioner, since excessive oxidation can be damaging.
